Good shoe, for a specific problem.
I\'ve picked these shoes for a specific reason - wide, almost flat foot. Compared to Roms4, they\'re definitely wider, and it takes time to adjust. Finally my big toe is not jammed under middle toes, and I can spread them out. When used for both low bar and front squats, the grip is very similar. Lack of arch support is noticeable.

There\'s one weird thing when comparing to Rom4. It seems that Roms4 position your foot at a slight external rotation (frontal plane), which shifts your balance toward edges of your foot. L-1 positions your foot more neutral, as if you were using barefoot shoe with a wooden ply under your heels. When walking, you\'ll notice this as if your knees were caving in. This forces you to actively use your toes and glutes.

Best Olympic weightlifting shoes I\'ve had. Sizing can feel a bit tight but they adjust with usage in few months.

My first weightlifting shoes and i could not find ones that fit my wide feet but luckily workout.eu sell these shoes in eu.
Shoes are excellent and the sizing is on point. I measured my feet on top of a sheet of paper between 2 books and used the cm measurement. Will order again from workout.eu

First Weighlifting shoes for a barefoot/wide foot
Shoes feel as solid as a well built sneaker. Insoles were garbage and coming apart from factory. Replaced with own flat profile insoles that fit me (I have wide flat feet), I can see that the straps were thick and seem really durable. I can also feel a cupping sensation on the heel part of the sole, don\'t know if that is intended but ok. Fits true to size as American sneaker sizing goes.
